Ophelia Rodriguez is an Annual Giving Specialist for Hospice Savannah Foundation, Inc. For eleven years, Ophelia has encouraged donors to become continuous donors, attend organization events, cultivate donors to volunteers and vice versa, all while managing direct mailings and third party fundraisers. She also manages Hospice Savannah’s upscale thrift shoppe.
Before fundraising, Ophelia served in several capacities for the Department of Defense; civilian, active and reserve, for 22 years. Her many roles and assignments left her with a passion for physical fitness and aiding those with mental disabilities. Ophelia attended Columbia College, St. Philip’s College, and received numerous military certifications, awards, and accolades.
CrossFit, cooking, and, volunteering in her community are just a few of her hobbies, but are ones she participates in weekly.She has been a resident of Georgia for the past 12 years, and is the divorced mother of one adult son.
